Azumaya

This project was built in summer 2008 in NE Portland. The client was looking for an asian styled outdoor covered structure, and this is what was built. It is a type of dojo called an azumaya and is made of locally sourced fsc certified western red cedar. There are future plans for a rumsford stove and a built in outdoor kitchen with an argintine grill and matching cedar benches.
