Tigerwood Deck ’09

This tigerwood deck was built summer 2009 for some wonderful clients in Sellwood that needed to reclaim their backyard from overgrown landscaping and an old hot tub to a place for their two kids to play, and for themselves to relax and entertain.  The deck is built of chain of custody green certified 5/4 x 6 Tigerwood decking attached with hidden fasteners.  All of the fascia, benches, and handrails are  3/4 x 4 Tigerwood with an 1/8″ roundover detail.  This deck has 6 levels, built in deck lighting, built in tables and benches, no butt joints (even on the 18′ run) stainless steel metalwork done by Dyadic Ironworks, and a Cable Rail system for the rails.  The deck is finished with Timber-Pro UV plant-based UV sealer to keep the warm colors from fading.
