Richmond School Project

This is a redwood pergola built for the entrance of the vegetable garden at the Richmond Japanese immersion school in SE Portland.  It was a voulenteer project in collabaration with Fiddlehead Landscapes and Treecycle NW.   Jeff with Treecycle NW provided the redwood from a tree that had fallen near 117th and Halsey, and Dave with Fiddlehead Landscapes did the veggie garden design and installation.  There are future plans for a living roof and an information kiosk, along with a japanese gate for the entrance.  More photos will be up shortly.
